About Myself

One day a good friend asked if I could help design and create a custom air cleaner assembly for his 1972 BMW 2002 and I said, “Sounds like fun,“ and so it began. With my tool making background and meeting other people who are just as obsessed with cars as I am, made it a natural transition for me to start creating specialty parts.

I’ve been married to the love of my life for over 35 years, have 3 great kids and am a Pattern Maker by trade.  I’ve been a BMWCCA club member for almost two decades and served on the Badger Bimmers board of directors for 6 years.

My wife thinks I have a sickness.  That’s what she calls it, the sickness.  I would call it more of a passion and it goes way back.  My father let me buy my first car, a 1966 Ford Galaxy 500, when I wasn’t even old enough to have a driver’s license.  We spent many weekends collecting parts from our local scrap yards for my first restoration.  By the time I turned 16, I had completed the body work and had the car painted.  It was a sweet ride for a new driver.  That led to too many cars to count.  Okay maybe she is right, I have a sickness, but I love it.
